Working with incense during planetary hours

While there is nothing wrong with burning incense simply for the divine smell many of them bring, using incense intentionally can help align you with the cosmos. All it takes is paying attention to what the particular incense you are working with represents, as well as the planetary hour. For example, if it is love you wish to bring into your life (self-love, universal love, and more romance in an existing relationship all count!), using the Venusian hour and burning rose incense is a tiny ritual that can have a big effect. Bonus points if you speak aloud to Venus while you light the incense that you see her, and acknowledge some of the beautiful and loving things she does.
